Anime Festival Asia 2012

HEY HOOO READERS!

  What's up? I'm really in a mood to post something at this blog. (*exactly what i'm doing right now). Anyway, I'm gonna post something about Anime Festival Asia 2012, where our hobby thingy were all started here.

  Well actually, we never thought of doing a cosplay or stuffs but we did! We already knew that Anime Festival Asia 2012 going to be held at PRJ about 3 weeks ago. And we went crazy looking for the costume and the wig. You know what? I thought that making a costume only need about 1 week or 2 weeks but the fact is, every online shop says, "sorry, we can't make that fast. We need at least 4 weeks to accomplish all the orders from the customers." There you go, we're both so fed up until we had no idea what to wear. Then, I remember that going to that kind of Japanese events, doesn't mean you should wear a costume in order to get in. 2 days before the AFA begin, I got a light bulb popped in my head (*it means, i got an idea. and yea, i'm exaggerating). Why don't we try "ORIGINAL CHARACTERS"??

   After 3 hours of thinking, we've finally made a decision to be an original characters. And we're thinking of a "Seifuku". Seifuku is a school uniform in Japanese. Then after looking inside the wardrobe, I found clothes that matches my thoughts. As a result, me (Mckenzie), decided to wear a seifuku that acting like a gal. Kinda messy but for me, it is worth it. And Shiori wear a cute bunny seifuku that matched her a lot!!! 

   And last but not least, MAKE UP! WE WENT CRAZY FOR MAKEUPS! As you can see, I'm not the type of girl who loves to put a make up on. Guess what? I tried to put on an eyeliner for 1 hour and end up looking like a panda or being punched by Mike Tyson. (HOLY SSSHHH). So yea, I've never touched a make up stuffs in my life before the cosplay thing begin. (except powder *duh) But, I'm relieved that Shiori is kinda good at putting on an eyeliner, and in the end, she was the one who put on that eyeliner for me. PROBLEM SOLVED \(>w<)/

Jessy was the one who convinced me to join this cosplay event. And Shiori was the one who made it came true by convincing my parents! But too bad that AFA 2012 was Jessy's last cosplay event because of some privacy problems. But still, we won't stop from what we've started a year ago. And there's Felicia Angela, i called her "Moimoi". Why? Because of her nickname at a game. We're looking forward to cosplay together again, it is so hard to reach her though because she went to college at Japan ;_; And I miss her now...

Introduction!

   Hello readers! What's up? This is our very first post and we would like to introduce ourselves. But before that, let me explain what is "Dangorilla".

   Dangorilla is a name for our blog, you can consider that as an a.k.a. We're here to share some information about Japanese stuffs, events, games, fashion, beauty, sweets and of course, COSPLAY! But we've started our cosplay thingy on 1 September 2012 at Anime Festival Asia event. So as you can see, we are really NEW when it comes to share about all the stuffs that we've mentioned before. We're really sorry if we post some mistakes, but we will try our best to make each post as interesting as possible. *smile*

   And now its time for a really big introduction! (okay, i'm exaggerating). Why do we put "The Dangorillas" instead of "Dangorilla"? Well, we're consist of two idiotic young girls. Basically when it comes to more than one stuff, we put "S" for plural right? So, that's what happened. (i hope you understand *lol*). Well, the one who have written this very first post is Mckenzie Kawahara. (Hello Everyone!!!). And my partner in crime, who is also a part of "The Dangorillas", she is Shiori Ishikawa! Both of us are 18 years old or should i say 95 lines. WE ARE FROM INDONESIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
